En plein air. Book and garden

Historical gardens: a rich heritage, important and fragile, which is little known yet.

In the European Year of Cultural Heritage, established for 2018 by the Council of the European Union, the library system of Trentino has proposed the project En plein air. Book and garden. Alla scoperta dei giardini trentini (En plein air. Book and garden. Discovering Trentino's gardens): a small exhibition of charming drawings of gardens by Andrea Serio which are intertwined with captivating books on this topic. 

After being shown in some libraries of Trentino, close to some important "green monuments", the exhibition's last stage  takes place at the Castello del Buonconsiglio, and the castle's garden can be just considered a symbol for the whole history of the garden in Trentino.
