Fragili Forti (Fragile Forts)

Proposed by the artistic collective Miscele d'Aria Factory, a new immersive journey/show entitled " FRAGILE FORTS " designed for the FORTS of the First World War.

This event, taken from Miscele d'Aria Factory's show "The Soldier's Angel", is dedicated to all the fallen of the First World War and to all those who, unfortunately, are still involved, despite themselves, in the mad machine of death and destruction that is war.

Equipped with wireless headphones for listening, the audience is led through the Forts in an itinerary of emotions where voices, sounds, words and music try to recount and evoke, as much as possible, the fears, pain and bewilderment of the soldiers just before the battle.

Sound 'images' of the frenzy of a day more than 100 years ago, but also moments of leisure ... songs, laughter, letters, memories of an apparently normal 'almost life' inside the fort. Then everything stops, the silence becomes deafening ... everything is suspended, still ... Nature and emptiness take over. During the event, cyclically, the reading of names of the fallen. Men with first and last names and not just numbers. Men alone, fragile, protected by fragile fortifications that will not spare them from their tragic fate. But also places, the Forts, to protect and enhance against the fragility of memory, to never stop remembering, again and again.
