M'illumino di meno (I'll use less light) - Energy saving day.
Darker nights, brighter future

On the Energy saving and Sustainable lifestyles Day, the MUSE - in collaboration with the "Caterpillar" show broadcast by Rai Radio 2 - proposes an event to reflect on the issue of light pollution.
The alteration of natural light levels at night often has environmental, cultural and economic repercussions. We'll talk about this with Irene Borgna, anthropologist and author of the book "Cieli neri" (Dark skies), winner of the "Mario Rigoni Stern" prize in 2021, and with David Gruber, astrophysicist and director of the Museum of Natural Sciences of South Tyrol.
After the conference, the lights in the rooms of the MUSE will be switched off, allowing participants to explore them with torches, by being guided along sensory paths of strong emotional impact.
