The University of Trento, with a multidisciplinary team led by Prof. Roberto Caso of the Department of Law, is a partner in the European project "Rethinking digital copyright law for a culturally diverse, accessible, creative Europe (reCreating Europe) ”, which aims to redefine the regulatory framework of intellectual property and copyright that promotes the advancement of knowledge and facilitates access to and enjoyment of cultural content. The project includes the creation of a platform for study and collaboration involving authors and performers, creative industries, cultural organisations and institutions, intermediaries and end users.

In this context, the University of Trento has organised  “Open Up Museums! Prospects and Challenges of Accessibility, Diversity and Inclusion ”, a travelling workshop between Trento and Rovereto on 26-27 May 2022, on the topics of accessibility, diversity and inclusion in the cultural sector.

The aim of the workshop, co-organised by reCreating Europe and two other European projects, inDICEs  and DANCING , with the collaboration of the MUSE and Mart museums, is to explore key issues and tools to promote openness in the cultural sector, considering applicable laws and practices.
