As Vespasian would have said, "pecunia non olet", but money had a smell in Pompeii too. The documentary is a journey into the odours of ancient Pompeii, which our sense of smell can no longer perceive today. The work of the researchers on the productive activities within the excavations of Pompeii allows to make an evocative journey through the lost odours that human activities generated during the work to produce wealth.
