Summer Archaeology 2018

A summer full of suggestions for a time journey into the past to discover many interesting facts about the first inhabitants of Trentino, accompanied by archaeologists. From June to September the Museum of Pile dwellings of Fiavè, the Rhaetian Museum of Sanzeno, the Tridentum S.A.S.S. - Underground Archaeological Site SASS, the archaeological site “Acqua Fredda” at the Redebus Pass, Monte Rive in Caldonazzo and Monte San Martino at Campi di Riva del Garda will offer workshops, activities of experimental archeology, theatre for children, archeotrekking, readings, interactive guided tours, cinema and music. It’s an opportunity to have fun, learn and try one’s hand at old techniques and knowledge, surrounded by history and nature.

All the activities are organised by the “Servizi educativi” (office for educational activities) of the Archaeological Heritage Office of the Department for Cultural Heritage of the Autonomous Province of Trento, in collaboration with local municipalities, tourist offices, organisations and institutions.
