Noblewomen. Thun's female stories: here's a suggestion by the Provincial archive Office of Trento
This year the the Provincial archive Office of Trento will pay homage to the female universe, creating a virtual bridge between today's women and those who lived in a distant and now forgotten past. Giulia, Veronica, Anna Judith, Raimondina, Marie Philiberte, Teresina, Anna Elena.
Who are these women and what do they have in common? They are young brides in love, daughters forced to take their vows, betrayed and humiliated wives, devoted mothers, unaware concubines and painters full of talent.
What they share is that they are all women of the Thun family; these countesses lived between the mid-seventeenth century and the end of the twentieth. In particular, they share the desire to touch you by telling their own stories. Come and listen to them.
