Smarano Academy 2023
The International Academy of Smarano has been engaged since 1993 in the organisation of prestigious concert series of organ, clavichord and harpsichord music, as well as master classes in the field of ancient keyboard music.
Internationally recognised as one of the most prestigious bodies working in the world of ancient music, the association attracts dozens of students and professionals from all over the world to the valley every year and a constantly growing local audience, not only promoting the cultural growth of the area, but also offering a significant opportunity for international promotional visibility for the Val di Non.
The 2023 Academy is dedicated to the theme "From Vienna to Lübeck and Paris". This year the focus shifts to the relations between Vienna and Northern Germany and, more generally, to the intersections and confluences of music and styles between the great European cities, Lübeck and Paris.
After the celebration of the thirtieth anniversary, the International Academy of Smarano APS has organized a music festival that brings together internationally recognized musicians of different generations.
The concerts will be held in various municipalities of the Val di Non from 24 July to 31 August 2024.
Open donation for the concerts, so that everybody can fully enjoy this cultural offer.
The audience will be provided with a music listening guide (both printed and digital).
