Auprès de mon arbre

The title of the show comes from George Brassens' song Auprès de mon arbre, and is interpreted by the company Rève de Singe, founded and directed by Fabien La Sala who, in his performances, combines the circus arts with the art of dancing-climbing.

The show is a meeting on the top of a tree, where three artists’ bodies lightly touch each other in harmony, climb the tree, glide through a series of movements, and play together.

By mixing the natural and supernatural dimension, the tree is transformed and shows its various aspects, revealing its secrets and its history, as the seasons go by. Made of metal and wood, this tree represents the link between nature and the joints of the human body.
