Children's fancy dress party

Carnival is the most characteristic cultural and folkloristic event of Val di Fassa.

Shrove Tuesday is eagerly awaited by children, who can dress up as their favourite superheroes, princesses etc. throughout the day.

On 1 March, all maskers gather in Piaz de Sotegrava at 14.00, then parade along the streets of the village and finally end their celebrations at Fiabilandia Park, near the church.

If the area is closed, the party will be held in the municipal playground.

Accompanying persons and over 12-year-olds must wear a face covering during the event.
