Don Antonio & The Graces

Music is geography and Ennio Morricone's music - together with the images we have always associated with it - is one of the few pieces of music in contemporary history that has been able to indelibly "draw" a new landscape.

Don Antonio & The Graces (a project by the historic drummer of the Sacred Hearts) spontaneously came to cross Morricone's West, so exotic and yet so Italian and "ours", with Wim Wenders' West resting on Sam Shepard's shoulders.

The concert is a re-proposition of some of Morricone's strongest themes, linked as in a suite, and interspersed with readings selected from Sam Shepard's Motel Chronicles, and excerpts from other "frontier" stories entrusted to the voice of Giulia Perelli.
