FAI Activities in the Nature | Landscape Day
A day to discover the wonders of the Avio Castle and its connection to the surrounding landscape.

On the occasion of the "Landscape Day", the Avio Castle welcomes visitors with a range of proposals to discover the territory, inside and outside the walls: two walks in the surrounding area of the castle from an unusual point of view, accompanied by guides of the Bellesini Cooperative.
On the other hand, three guided tours of the castle are available at fixed times, to discover its history and admire the view from a privileged perspective.
Also available to the public is a fun treasure hunt for children and families.
A day in the open air with the possibility of enjoying an exceptional view over the Vallagarina and enjoying a picnic in the terraced gardens by booking (by the day before the event) a basket prepared by the "Locanda al Castello" Inn.

Guided tours of the castle:
FAI members: 5 €
Full price ticket: 13 €
Residents in the municipality of Avio: 5 €
Reduced price ticket for children and young people aged 6-18 : 8 €
Students aged 19 - 25: 8 €
Family (2 adults and children aged 6-18): 35 €
children 0 - 5: free admission
Disabled persons - valid for disabled person and accompanying person: € 5.00
Trentino Guest Card holders: 5,00 €

Simple basket: €12.00 - sandwich with local cold cuts and/or cheese + side dishes, water and dessert of the day.
INFORMATION
Dogs are allowed, always on a leash.
We recommend wearing rubber-soled shoes.
Accessibility
The area presents some difficulties for people with reduced mobility or wheelchair users.

By car
Brennero A22 motorway, Ala-Avio exit, between Verona and Trento, then follow the signs.
By train
Verona - Brenner line, Avio station (approx. 2.5 km).
By bus
