Last chance of the year to take a real leap back in time, discovering the customs and traditions at the time of the Castelbarco family.
On Sunday 29 September, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., the Castle of Avio recounts the Middle Ages and the life of peasants throughout the centuries. An unforgettable journey into the past to discover the life that took place within the walls of an ancient castle.
A day dedicated to families and children with the setting up of a small medieval camp, various demonstrations, including loom weaving, and special medieval games for children.
At every hour there will be small animations by the Compagnia della Stella, which will tell stories and legends of the castle.
families can also enjoy the 'game trail': a treasure hunt within the castle walls, in which children become the real protagonists of the visit.

INFORMATION
Dogs are allowed, always on a leash.
We recommend wearing rubber-soled shoes and appropriate clothing.
Accessibility
The area presents some difficulties for people with reduced mobility or wheelchair users.

HOW TO GET THERE
Car park
At the base of the castle, a 350-metre walk. To reach the manor house, walk along the path between the olive grove and the forest.
We recommend the use of rubber-soled shoes.
By car
Brennero A22 motorway, Ala-Avio exit, between Verona and Trento, then follow the signs.
By train
Verona - Brenner line, Avio station (approx. 2.5 km).
By bus
From Trento, Sabbionara d'Avio stop (about 1 km)
