Festival of St. Anthony in Strombiano
The local community celebrates the local landscape as a common good
On 17, 18, 19 June 2016, the Ecomuseum of Val di Peio proposes the programme below meant to promote land restoration and recovery of ancient orchards and, at the same time, to look in depth at themes relating to the historical development of the territory and of its people.
Friday 17 June at 20.30, at the Casa dell'Ecomuseo in Celentino: meeting with Prof. Pietro Nervi "The collective goods."
Saturday 18 June at 21.00 in the town’s square (Piazzetta anfiteatro), Festival of St. Anthony in Strombiano – Landscape Day: "CHARTE DE REGOLA...ROBA DE TUTI, ANCA MEA", a show by Compagnia Laboratorio "Un Paese nelle Nuvole" and ASUC, directed by Maria Teresa Dalla Torre.
Sunday 19 June, Feast of St. Anthony in Strombiano - Landscape Day: (in the morning) arrangement of the land and recovery of ancient apple trees. After lunch, guided excursion along the Ethnographic Path “Linum” and, at 17.00, Holy Mass and procession accompanied by the parish choir Cogolo -Celentino.
