I'm nobody - Emilia Verginelli

IO NON SONO NESSUNO (I'm nobody) collects episodes from my experience as a theatre volunteer in a group home and explores my relationship with some of the children who live there, including Muradif.

A place to call home for those who have no family, where the original roles of mother-father-child are replaced by others: educator, legal guardian, lawyer, social worker, judge, psychologist, foster parent, adoptive parent, nun, volunteer...

What do all these roles imply? What do they define? What is a role?

These questions are the starting point for an investigation into human relationships, through interviews with Muradif, Michael, Daniele, Marilù, Siham and Pasquale, my father.

But who are all these people with whom we share memories, a life, responsibilities? Community, collectivity: what do these words mean? Who are we in front of other people?
