Irredentism in Riva del Garda in a party dress
with Lodovico Tavernini and Maria Luisa Crosina
Presentation of a precious historical dress, testimony to the turmoil of the early twentieth century in the Upper Garda area.
It is a woman's dress, rich in details and hand-decorated with views of Riva del Garda, which probably belonged to a woman of the town and used for social occasions.
By observing it, we can grasp some useful hints to reconstruct the historical context, marked by irredentist movements taking place in the area before the Great War.
In addition to the dress, a statue of a Garibaldian, a handkerchief signed by Degasperi and some medals and badges will also be presented.
This journey into the past will be enhanced by listening to the National League Anthem performed by pianist Monica Maranelli and by memorabilia and images of the time.
