In May 2017, Alessandro De Bertolini set off on his bike, alone, with his tent and sleeping bag, to cross North America from the shores of the Pacific Ocean to the shores of the Arctic Ocean: a total of 10,500 km in three months along the paved and unpaved roads of California, Nevada, Arizona, Utah, Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, Alberta, British Columbia, the Yukon and Alaska.

The aim of the trip was to update a youtube channel during the trip where to upload a series of audiovisual clips made "on the road"; to produce a reportage with images and text for the publication of a book, which was printed in 2018, entitled "It's my home for three months" ( Montura Editing), presented at various meetings in libraries; to produce a documentary, presented in 2019, entitled "It's my home for three months" presented at several festivals in the sector, including the TrentoFilmFestival and the International Festival of Ferrara; to promote an event evening for festivals of the sector, which was presented around 35 times in various theatres and smaller venues between 2018 and 2020.
