Open Data are somehow a public aqueduct: if you open the tap you can know, discover, tell, understand the changes in progress in the world, and you can "read" the world.
It's a tightrope walker-thing, always in tension between what is only a list of data, and the revelation of infinite possibilities. Numbers are like doors that open up on an unknown world.
