Menu delle montagne (Mountain menus)

Menus, the pieces of cardboard used to present food and drink – on display in the exhibition – create an iconographic itinerary featuring images and events linked to the mountains. They represent a history of customs and traditions that can be explored on a journey to the tables of hotels and restaurants of many countries around the world, in different eras and for different social classes, from the 1870s to the present day.
