United by a common passion for Monk, Tracanna and Saiu engage with his fascinating repertoire, aware that they have to deal with a music characterised by complex harmonies, dense chromatic progressions and jagged phrasing on highly original, sometimes unpredictable rhythmic ideas.

His compositions become the starting point for permanent laboratory of musical research.
