The Bronze and Iron Ages and the case of the village of Sottopedonda di Tesero

With Paolo Bellintani (official archaeologist of the Archaeological Heritage Officeof the Autonomous Province of Trento)

Meetings and conferences

In the Bronze Age and Iron Age, agro-pastoral communities in the Central and Eastern Alps are exposed to the effects of such fundamentally important innovations as the metallurgy of copper alloys and then iron. The earliest evidence for writing also appears at the end of this time span. Such events, and more, are evidenced in the 2nd Iron Age Rhaetic village of Sottopedonda in Tesero (5th and 2nd centuries).
