The Great Peasants' War was a widespread popular revolt in the German-speaking areas of central Europe from 1524 to 1525.
This open-air theatrical show in period costumes tells the tragic events taking place at the beginning of the Renaissance, when the peasant populations of the Tyrol and of the Prince-Bishopric of Trento and Bressanone rebelled against feudal servitude, injustices and greed of the social and ecclesiastical system of the early 16th century (between 1524 and 1526 ).
