The ladies of the heights

Following the success of the past editions, TeaTrekking is back again this year: four walks with different destinations, guided by a mountain guide and followed by a theatrical, musical or choreographic performance. The appointments will take place from Sunday 7 May to Sunday 4 June.

The initiative is organised by Teatro delle Garberie, ariaTeatro and  Valsugana tourist board. With the collaboration of Rifiuti Speciali, Associazione Accompagnatori Media Montagna del Trentino, Associazione Culturale Forte delle Benne, Municipality of Tenna, Municipality of Levico Terme, Associazione Artesella, Istituto Culturale Mocheno. With the contribution of the CARITRO Foundation.

On 28 May, guide Alberto Bertocchi proposes a walk from San Felice di Fierozzo to Maso Filzerhof.

At 16.30: performance Le signore delle cime (The ladies of the heights) by Manuela Fischietti, with Federica Chiusole and Manuela Fischietti, live music by St. Ilario Choir, production Rifiuti Speciali.

A story that aims to pay tribute to the history of women protagonists of great adventures, and to "open a way" to the dissemination of the contribution they have all made to national and world mountaineering. Seven women have been chosen to represent a much larger number of female mountaineers who, from the end of the 19th century to the present day, have contributed to affirming the presence of women in a sport which has been considered by men and for men for a long time.
