Trento Science Major Events | The alphabet of nature
Roberto Battiston will converse with journalist Giovanni Caprara

Science education, environmental issues and the climate crisis will be the topics at the centre of the debate schedules on Wednesday 19 April at 18.30 at the MUSE between Prof. Roberto Battiston, Professor of Experimental Physics at the University of Trento, and science journalist Giovanni Caprara (Corriere della Sera).
The meeting, which is free and open to the public, is part of the "Trento Scienza Grandi Eventi" (Trento Science Major Events) series of dissemination meetings to look in depth at current hot topics, which welcomes to the MUSE leading figures on the Italian scientific scene, authors of recent books for the general public.
"The Alphabet of Nature" (Rizzoli, 2022) will therefore be the starting point to talk about climate change, an elusive, slow, contradictory, yet decisive issue for our future, which the author analyses and investigates fully, by emphasising the importance of scientific thinking as the only resource that can help us respond to the challenges of our time, from pandemics to the use of the planet's resources.
