Frei Betto converses with Raffaele Crocco
Frei Betto, born in 1944 in the city of Belo Horizonte in Brazil, is a spokesperson of the liberation theology and of the church in Latin America. He was a leader of the Student Movement of the Catholic Student Youth . Imprisoned in the 60s for subversive activity, he studied theology and philosophy during the repression perpetrated by the Brazilian government.
Raffaele Crocco, who has been sent for years all over the world to study conflicts, is editor of the Atlas of world wars and conflicts. He is one of the founders of Pacereporter and a RAI (Italian State Television) journalist.
