Women in the Arts
Photographic exhibition on female artists from Trento
Sculptresses, poetesses, female musicians, actresses, ballet-dancers, authoresses, women film directors, designers, female composers, video artists, dramatic authoresses, paintresses: women protagonists in the arts on our territory are so many.
This exhibition recounts 17 of them, the first 17 women who will take part in a wider and creative project of artistic census promoted by Chaminade Cultural Association. Hence, this is not a complete and exhaustive gallery, but rather the beginning of a rediscovery, sometimes a real discovery.
What units them is Trentino, place of birth or formation, starting point or researching ground, and a privilege, that is the ability of expressing oneself through the arts.
