Visit to the Museum's permanent collections and two temporary exhibitions

The #domenicalmuseo (Sunday at the museum) initiative is back. Don't miss this opportunity, proposed by the Italian Ministry for Culture, to visit museums for free every first Sunday of the month. 

On 7 April, from 10.00 to 18.00, you can visit and enjoy for free the Mart’s Collections and the temporary exhibits "Dove finisce il lago. TerraProject" (Where the lake ends. TerraProject) and the new exhibition opening on 6 April "Giovanni Skulina. Frammenti d'istanti " (Giovanni Skulina. Fragments of Instants)

The journey inside the Museum will also be an opportunity to climb the Mastio, the tower of the Fortress, to enjoy a splendid view, to dive into the archaeological section and in the section dedicated to History. Children will have the opportunity to discover the new video in the INvento area that shows the history of the Fortress through evocative drawings made with sand, accompanied by music and a narrator's voice.

The MAG Museo Alto Garda is comprised of the Museum of Riva del Garda, which looks directly onto the lake itself, and the G. Segantini City Gallery in Arco. The Rocca of Riva del Garda, an ancient medieval castle standing on the lakeside, is home to the headquarters of the Mag Museum with its three permanent sections, spaces for temporary exhibitions, and the workshop itinerary known as ‘INvento', designed for younger visitors and their families.
