On Sunday 7 January 2024 the #domenicalmuseo (Sunday at the museum) initiative is back: free admission to Castello del Buonconsiglio, Castel Beseno, Castel Stenico and Castel Thun 

The #domenicalmuseo (Sunday at the museum) is back: the initiative of the Ministry of Culture and of the Autonomous Province of Trento offers free admission to museums, state archaeological parks and provincial museums (paid admission for the various activities and services offered). 

To avoid possible waits at ticket offices, it is advisable to purchase tickets at https://www.buonconsiglio.it/acquista/ by paying only € 1 (pre-sale fee).

Buonconsiglio Castle

The Buonconsiglio Castle is the largest and most important monumental complex of the Trentino Alto Adige region. It was the residence of the prince-bishops of Trento from the 13th century to the end of the 18th century. Castelvecchio is the oldest nucleus; the Magno Palazzo is the 16th century expansion and is one of the most sumptuous Renaissance-style palaces in Italy.
