Due. Una storia d'amore (Two. A love story) tells about a love story and closes the Trilogy on the Inadequacy of Special Waste.
Why does a love story end?
Although we are not looking for an answer to such a complex and mysterious question in its banality, we continue to be amazed by the transformation of love relationships: they can create reassuring and protective bonds, yet they can turn into places where the soul moves strangely, challenged and uncertain.
The idea of the show is inspired not so much by the failure of a love relationship as by the failure of communication within it.
A man and a woman lay themselves bare, talking about and remembering their feelings, intimacy, sex, plans, dreams and betrayals.
They ask themselves simple questions on which the outcome of their relationship depends:
When did we lose each other? Why didn't we realise? Is it possible to go back? How many times can we start again? What are the right cards to play?
