Six meetings to understand the meaning of the Nobel prize-givings in 2016

The Nobel Prize, the prestigious honour of world value, is given annually to those who "bring considerable benefits to mankind", for their research, discoveries and inventions, to the literary work and the commitment to world peace.
From its first assignment in 1901 to today the Nobel Prize has been giving particular attention to scientific research and its ability to open new paths for innovation and the evolution of humanity. With these six meetings, the University of Trento intends to offer its students and the community an opportunity to better understand the the meaning of the Nobel prize-givings in 2016 and of their importance.
