1968 Generation. Sociology, Trento, the world

exhibition , History exhibition

"1968 Generation. Sociology, Trento, the world" tells the story of the 1968 movement in Italy, by linking it to the decade in which it occurred; in particular, the historical-social context of Trentino is intertwined with the international context, the students’ protest and the cultural imagery.

The exhibition itinerary frames an events calendar covering six months’ time, featuring seminars, guided tours, book presentations and many other events, the first of which will be held between the end of May and the beginning of June.

The exhibition addresses all those who want to "see" the 1968 movement through the eyes of a generation that defined itself "anti-authoritarian" above all. It is also an invitation to all students to discover the intellectual and political ferment taking place at the Sociology Department of the University of Trento fifty years ago.
