Riparo Dalmeri is a Paleolithic archaeological site. Excavations at the site had been carried on by MUSE - Science Museum (Trento) for 20 years. The archaeological findings allowed us to understand the habits and exploitation practices of the mountain land by prehistoric people living in the area about 13,000 years ago.

The most exciting discoveries occurred during excavations were the identification of a structure, probably a residential building, and the discovery of several stones painted in red ochre that lead to new interpretations on the art and spirituality of the ancient hunter-gatherers living in the uplands of the Prealps.
