And man met the wolf

From sacred species to the God Apollo to the nurse of Romulus and Remus, from an "infernal" beast for Dante to a totemic spirit for various peoples: the wolf - since ancient times - has been one of the most charismatic animals in our imagination.
The first meeting of 2022 at the MUSE - Science Museum in Trento - focuses on the predator that has come back to our area.
Two special guests will talk about it: Luca Giunti, gamekeeper and author of the book "Le conseguenze del ritorno" (Consequences of the wolf's return), and Riccardo Rao, Professor of medieval history at the University of Bergamo and author of "Il tempo dei lupi" (The time of the wolves')
Who is the wolf? A predator that inhabits our mountains, certainly. But also, and above all, an animal that feeds our imagination, and that has always been a shadow of our species.
An animal with a strong "cultural" value, almost a symbol, which on Wednesday 9 February 2022 at 18.30, will be the protagonist of the evening entitled "And man met the wolf". You can join the event both in person (here is the link to register for the event), and live on the museum's Facebook page.
