Archaeology in Val di Fiemme. New data from recent excavation campaigns in the area called Doss, in Castello di Fiemme

Starting in 2019 and in the years to follow, the Archaeological Heritage Office of the the Autonomous Province of Trento has carried out emergency archaeological excavations in the area called Doss in Castello di Fiemme. The area, already known for important findings in the last century, proved to be extremely interesting for the information it provided, through which we can enrich the cognitive framework of the peopling in Val di Fiemme, particularly on the settlement patterns in the period between the early and late Middle Ages.
