Art for life: Ermete Bonapace’s work

24 sculptures by Ermete Bonapace are on display at Palazzo Roccabruna

24 sculptures belonging to Ermete Bonapace’s familly collection – 3 marble sculptures, 3 bronze statues and 18 plaster works - are on display from 27 February to 12 April at Palazzo Roccabruna.

The biography of this artist from Mezzolombardo is intertwined with the historical events and the most tragic moments that marked Trentino’s history in the first half of the 20^th century.

Along the rooms of the palazzo there are also seven enlargements of historical photos (currently kept in Ermete Bonapace’s archive at the Trentino history museum foundation), which allow us to grasp, though marginally, the overall framework of Bonapace’s sculptural work, which he has carried out on different fronts.
