At the museum for the International Women's Day

The Italian War History Museum of Rovereto offers free admission to all women (from 10.00 to 18.00) on 8 March, to visit the collections of the First World War and the towers of the Castle with exhibits of ancient and modern weapons.

This initiative is meant to remember the role of women in society, women who have been protagonists of history, with men. In the First World War, for example, in addition to the painful role of mothers and wives of soldiers at the front, women were Red Cross nurses, farmers, workers in factories in the place of men and refugees forced to leave their homeland.
