Biopop. The show of variety

As part of the Festival of Biodiversity, a conference-show will take place on Sunday 22 May at 21.00 at the MUSE: in pop style, it will focus on the topic of biodiversity.

"Variety is everything, variety is life. Yellow tomatoes, Indios, jellyfish, aliens, pokemon, gods, strange little animals. Biopop is a multimedia show dedicated to living species and cultures on the verge of a nervous breakdown…in other words to beings and phenomena which are “differently” to be loved".

Canestrini’s conference-shows show are a mix of reasoning and fun. They are multimedia monologues in which the anthropologist and journalist Canestrini uses old paintings, cartoons, advertising images, clips from movies, songs, pieces of literature to listen to.
