Christmas Concert for Amnesty in Rovereto
with Maurizio Postai, the polyphonic choir Laboratorio Musicale and the Orchestra LàMus Ensemble
Concert directed by Maurizio Postai with the polyphonic choir Laboratorio Musicale and the Orchestra LàMus Ensemble. In the first part of the concert, they'll perform the symphony KV 551 Jupiter and a selection of pieces from the Coronation Mass by Mozart; in the second part they'll perform music of the Christmas tradition, such as Stille Nacht, Adeste Fideles, Oh Holy Night.
During the night, Amnesty International activists will present Write for Rights, Amnesty’s global letter-writing campaign and the world’s biggest human rights event. They'll collect signatures for some of its petition in honour, this year, of some of the millions of women rising against injustice – and paying a heavy price as a consequence.
