Wooden huts, perfume of resin, fresh air, a starry sky above the head and possibly snow, with its soft candid carpet. Traditions revive once more at the Mercatino dei Popoli (Christmas Market of the Peoples).
The Renaissance-flavoured town of Rovereto waits you in the heart of Vallagarina. Tradition and avantgarde, dialogue and hospitality, and a vocation for peace culture are expressed every night by the hundred tolls of the peace bell Maria Dolens, one of the biggest swinging bell in the world. Cast with molten artilleries offered by the Great War contestants, it celebrates the memory of the fallen of every conflict from upon its site, hill Miravalle. Yuletide is then the ideal period in which Rovereto welcomes artisans and artists from all over the world, in a melting pot of people and cultures.
