FAI Spring days 2018 - 27th year

The FAI Spring Days are the most important initiative of the FAI, Fondo Ambiente Italiano, (the National Trust of Italy) which will open on Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 March throughout Italy and will make a lot of cultural venues known: buildings, churches, castles and natural areas through guided tours: over 1100 wonderful treasures which are often closed to the public.

Spring Days in Trento

In 2019 the FAI Spring Days propose a series of visits to tell the human and artistic story of one of the greatest architects of the twentieth century: Adalberto Libera. He designed two buildings for Trento, which everybody can enjoy by joining a guided tour: Raffaello Sanzio Primary School (1934) in the district of San Martino, and the building of the Autonomous Region of Trentino-Alto Adige / Südtirol (1965).

The FAI will also focus on the painter Gino Pancheri, author of a mural painting on the curved wall in the stairway, to the left of the south-west entrance of Raffaello Sanzio Primary School. (1935) dedicated to school life. Pancheri also painted two walls in the Palazzo INAIL in Via Gazzoletti with scenes depicting work in workshops and fields.

SATURDAY 23 and SUNDAY 24 MARCH you can visit in Trento Raffaello Sanzio Primary School in the historic district of San Martino, the building of the Autonomous Region of Trentino-Alto Adige / Südtirol, seat of the Council and of the Regional Council, and the works of Gino Pancheri in the Palazzo INAIL in Via Gazzoletti.
