FAI Summer Evenings 2024 | Medieval Dinner at the Castle
One of the most popular events among the FAI Summer Evenings at the Avio Castle is back: the Medieval Dinner

Let's dive into an atmosphere of times gone by, amid crenellated walls, frescoed rooms and a medieval dinner prepared by our "Locanda al Castello" Inn.
At 7.00 p.m. and 7.15 p.m. take part in a guided tour to discover the history of the stronghold at the entrance of Trentino and some interesting facts related to the medieval diet and table behaviour of diners of the time.
At the end of the visit, in the Countess' garden, in the shadow of the fortified tower , dinner will be served with a strictly medieval menu and themed musical accompaniment.
OPENIG TIMES
Guided tours are scheduled at 7 p.m. and 7.15 p.m. (duration 1 hour). The ticket office will open 15 minutes before the event.
At the end of the two tours, dinner will be served outdoors (indoors in case of rain).
The castle will not be open for autonomous visits.
TICKETS
FAI members: 50,00 €
Full price ticket: 55,00 €
Reduced price ticket for children and young people aged 6-18 : 50,00 €
Students aged 19 - 25: 50,00 €
Residents in the municipality of Avio: 50,00 €
The event includes a guided tour of the castle in the evening and dinner with a medieval-inspired menu. It will not be possible to join only one of the two activities.

INFORMATION
Dogs are allowed, always on a leash.
We recommend wearing rubber-soled shoes, appropriate clothing and carrying a torch for the walk to the car park after sunset.
Accessibility
The area presents some difficulties for people with reduced mobility or wheelchair users.

HOW TO GET THERE
Car park
At the base of the castle, a 350-metre walk. We recommend the use of rubber-soled shoes, appropriate clothing and a torch to light the way back to the car park.
By car
Brennero A22 motorway, Ala-Avio exit, between Verona and Trento, then follow the signs.
By train
Verona - Brenner line, Avio station (approx. 2.5 km).
By bus
From Trento, Sabbionara d'Avio stop (about 1 km).
