FAI Summer Evenings | Places to Eat

Sunday 15 September 2024
On Sunday 15 September, in the setting of one of the most evocative manors in Trentino, we propose "Territori da mangiare: mercatino enogastronomico al Castello di Avio" (Places to eat: wine and food market at the Avio Castle).
Now in its sixth year, the event combines history, environment and culinary traditions: fifteen producers from Trentino and the upper Veronese area, selected by the Slow Food Valle dell'Adige Alto Garda Convivium and the Marchio del Baldo Association, will offer the public typical products from their territory. Jams, honey, beers and homemade apple ciders, together with cold cuts, typical cheese and many other products.
The food and wine market will have free admission and will be exceptionally hosted in the private garden of the Castelbarco Countess, donor of the Avio Castle to the FAI.
Three guided tours are scheduled at fixed times, (11 a.m., 2 p.m. and 4 p.m.) to discover the history of the Castle with a special focus on its agricultural vocation.
