FAI Summer Evenings | Shooting Stars night
On the occasion of the shooting stars night, the Castle of Avio extends its opening hours for a magical evening under the stars
SATURDAY 10 AUGUST 2024
At 19.00 and 19.15, two special guided tours will lead the public to discover the Castle of Avio, one of the most evocative monuments in Trentino: frescoed rooms and terraced gardens to be enjoyed after sunset.
At the end of the visit, a candlelight dinner will be served in the Contessa Castelbarco garden, exceptionally open for the occasion. The dinner will be organised by the Locanda al Castello. Musical accompaniment with flute, mandola and violin will be provided during dinner.
Guided tours will only start at 19.00 and 19.15 (duration 1 hour). The ticket office will be open 15 minutes before the event.
At the end of both tours, dinner will be served outdoors (or in the inn, in case of rain).

FAI members: 50,00 €
Full price ticket: 55,00 €
Reduced price ticket for children and young people aged 6-18 : 50,00 €
Students aged 19 - 25: 50,00 €
Residents in the municipality of Avio: 50,00 €
The event includes a guided tour of the Castle in the evening and dinner under the stars. It will not be possible to do only one of the two activities.

INFORMATION
Dogs are allowed, always on a leash.
We recommend wearing rubber-soled shoes, appropriate clothing and carrying a torch for the walk to the car park after sunset.
Accessibility
The area presents some difficulties for people with reduced mobility or wheelchair users.

Any food allergies or intolerances must be notified at the time of booking by e-mail with reference to the event in question, no later than midday on the day before the event.
HOW TO GET THERE
Car park
At the base of the castle, a 350-metre walk. We recommend the use of rubber-soled shoes, appropriate clothing and a torch to light the way back to the car park.
By car
Brennero A22 motorway, Ala-Avio exit, between Verona and Trento, then follow the signs.
By train
Verona - Brenner line, Avio station (approx. 2.5 km).
By bus
From Trento, Sabbionara d'Avio stop (about 1 km).
