FRANCO D'ANDREA TRADITIONS TODAY SPECIAL GUEST HAN BENNINK

His style of piano playing and his music are a felicitous encounter between tradition and the more advanced expressions of jazz, between the composed and improvised, between America, Africa and Europa. All delivered, as ever, with the expressive rigour we’ve come to expect from Franco D’Andrea over his long career. The addition of dynamic Dutch drummer Han Bennink and two versatile musicians, clarinettist Daniele D’Agaro and trombonist Mauro Ottolini, means there’ll be a few surprises in store.
