Free admission to the Italian war history Museum of Rovereto
As every year, on the occasion of 4 November, the day commemorating the end of World War I on the Italian-Austrian front, the Museum proposes a Sunday with free admission to its collections.
On Sunday 6 November it will therefore be possible to visit the Italian War History Museum in the Rovereto Castle with free admission. Also scheduled for this day is the special opening of the Great War Artillery Section in Podestà Square (which will be closed for the winter break since 1 November), which offers a wide selection of artillery pieces used by the armies during World War I.
The tour also includes the new rooms recently opened to the public and dedicated to the war on the Italian-Austrian front, particularly the war in the mountains and the daily life of the soldier. In addition to the rooms dedicated to World War I and the conflicts of the 19th century, there are also the Malipiero and Marino towers, with weapons collections ranging from the prehistoric period to the modern age.
