From the Anthropocene to the Biocene

In its Project Room, Castel Belasi – Contemporary art center for eco thought presents the exhibition ‘From the Anthropocene to the Biocene’.
The exhibition features a selection of works by nine artists under the age of 35 who took part in the eponymous MUSE masterclass – led by Blanca de la Torre – focusing on the intersection of visual arts, political ecology, and sustainable creative practices.

The exhibition is produced by Castel Belasi in collaboration with MUSE – Trento Science Museum thanks to a multi-year partnership between MUSE and Castel Belasi/municipality of Campodenno for the development of joint projects under the banner of dialogue between contemporary art and scientific research on sustainability issues.
Castel Belasi is a contemporary art centre for ecological practices and thinking set in a medieval castle in the Alps at the foot of the Brenta Dolomites in Val di Non – Trentino, an institution of the municipality of Campodenno, open to the public since 2021. Stefano Cagol has been its artistic director since 2023.
