The “Grand Gala Ballet” is a journey into the world of the Balletto di Milano | Ballet of Milan dance ranging from the great classics, to the company's neoclassical repertoire, to new creations.

Extraordinary artists in terms of technique and interpretation, the Company's dancers demonstrate their great versatility, moving from the lyricism of the Swan Lake, to the brilliance of the Flames of Paris and Don Quixote, to the dynamism of Frida and Lux Aeterna, excerpts from the new production “La dolce vita” premiered.

Also in the rich and varied program dedicated to the repertoire are Le Corsaire, Sleeping Beauty and Laurenzia, pas de deux from Chabukiani's famous ballet that is increasingly rare to see, while exclusive creations from the Company's Carmen and Romeo and Juliet are drawn from the ballet.

Even the costumes, from glittering tutus to haute couture dresses, make for a unique journey into the world of the Balletto di Milano in which one can discover - and admire - dance in its many expressions. 

Ambassador of the Italian dance in the world, the Balletto di Milano directed by Carlo Pesta is among the most prestigious Italian Companies. Recognized and supported by the Ministry of Culture, the Region of Lombardy, from which it also obtained the prestigious Recognition of Regional Relevance, and the City of Milan, Balletto di Milano performs in major Italian theaters and abroad, in leading theaters and institutions.
