Gardesana: the road at the crossroads of cultures and eras

From 9 to 24 February the "Craffonara" civic hall of Riva del Garda hosts an exhibition dedicated to the "strada statale 45 bis Gardesana" (state road on the western side of the Lake Garda) seen through the eyes of artist Anna Nezhnaya.

The artist was inspired by the names of the Gardesana galleries, by the symbols of the road, by vintage cars races, by books and by the Italian tradition of the production of marbled artistic paper. Her work is an evocative vision of the journey between epochs, styles and different countries through paintings, interior decoration objects, fabrics, decorative panels and collages.

This exhibition goes beyond the local dimension, in fact it will be set up in other important venues, but starts from Riva del Garda, which is the top position on the Lake Garda.
