Halloween at the Avio Castle

Between the end of October and the beginning of November, the FAI - Fondo per l'Ambiente Italiano (National Trust of Italy) will be enveloped in the atmosphere of Halloween. 

The majestic Castle of Avio, in Sabbionara di Avio (in the province of Trento), - the stronghold of the noble Castelbarco family, which stands on the mountainside within a circuit of crenellated walls with towers, now occupied by a lush garden - will be the scene of two engaging themed initiatives for pleasant moments of entertainment for young visitors, their parents and carers.

In particular, from Wednesday 26 October to Friday 28 October, and from Monday 31 October to Friday 4 November, from 10.00 to 17.00 (last recommended admission at 16.00), children aged 4 - 14 are invited to take part in the "Treasure Hunt - Halloween Special," an original game activity within the castle walls, discovering the mysteries of this fascinating medieval castle.

Thanks to the use of a personal paper map, and through games and puzzles, children will learn about the history and spaces of one of the most evocative manors in Trentino, while having fun.

The activity is included in the admission ticket. No booking required

Tickets: free admission for children aged 0 - 5; reduced price ticket for children aged 6 - 14: € 4. 

Reduced price ticket € 8; family ticket (two adults with children over 6 years old): € 21.

On Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 October – from 10.00 to 19.00 – and on Monday 31 October – from 18.00 to 21.00 – the castle proposes “Una visita da brivido – Halloween al Castello” ("A thrilling visit. Halloween at the Castle"), special tours for families, accompanied by several actors in disguise, to discover legends and stories about the castle.

How to take part in the event: booking required online at: www.halloweenconilfai.it. The guided tours will take place every 20 minutes. PLEASE NOTE: on the occasion of the event "A thrilling visit", the castle can be visited only by taking part in a guided tour;  the "Treasure Hunt" will be suspended.
