A brief survey on the luthier's craft, the materials and tools used, and the stages of making a violin. Gianmaria will be happy to answer questions from participants, in the hope of making the meeting stimulating and enriching.
Gianmaria Stelzer is a luthier; originally from Trento, he moved to Zurich three years ago, where he set up his workshop, and is mainly devoted to the construction and tuning of violins, violas and cellos.
